This moved TR to the Final Round, giving them another shot at the championship. Renovatio won the Semifinals with a score of 2-0 in their favor. After Renovatio won the last Immortal phase – killing three TR heroes in the process – they marched into TR’s base, demolishing the remaining upper fort, and the core. Renovatio nevertheless won the next phase, stealing the lead from TR. In the battle for the fourth Immortal, a well-timed Magic Missile from TR’s Li-Ming (MiseryProx) snuffed out Renovatio’s Zagara (vyy). Afterwards, a lower-lane clash allowed Renovatio’s Tychus (Hyskoa) to take out TR’s E.T.C. Renovatio won the third Immortal phase, which helped them exert pressure on the top lane.
Despite the second Immortal phase seeing fights that killed Renovatio’s Thrall (JumpyLion) and Uther, Renovatio secured the assistance of their Immortal. Fortune continued to favor TR as they managed to win the support of their Immortal and crush Renovatio’s first top-lane fort. (MiLovesPoro), and Sylvanas (Asurai), an early-game clash claimed the life of Renovatio’s Uther (Stronger). Thanks to excellent teamwork by TR’s Tyrande (Four), E.T.C. This allowed them to flatten TR’s remaining top-lane fort, and smash their core. After summoning a frozen Punisher, Renovatio launched its final assault on TR’s base. A late-game clash at the upper-lane shrine then wiped out TR. While the rest of Renovatio busied themselves meeting their opponents head-on, Sonya captured mercenary camps. Renovatio proceeded to dominate the struggles for the first three shrines, allowing them to level all of TR’s forward forts.
The scuffle claimed the lives of both Illidan and Sonya. Renovatio faced TR in the best-out-of-three Semifinals.Įarly in the game, TR’s Illidan (MiseryProx) and Brightwing (Four) doubled-team Renovatio’s Sonya (JumpyLion) in the upper lane. This placed Skyline and CC in the Losers Bracket, while Renovatio and TR moved forward to the Semifinal Round. The first round saw Renovatio defeating Skyline 2-0, and TR beating CC 2-0. This double-elimination tournament gathered four of the best teams to emerge from Online Qualifiers 1 and 2, namely Renovatio, Renovatio – The Resistance (TR), Renovatio – Corpse Camping (CC), and Skyline. The Philippines Qualifier, which began on April 23, concluded with the Philippines National Finals on May 14.
